Literature Text

The skeletons drawn on your back crave my fingers closer,
And I feel like I'm playing a xylophone.
"You're so skinny." I whisper, each letter pronounced perfectly,
Because you're perfect.
You raise an eyebrow, giving me one of your desirable looks,
And I can't help diving in for one more beautiful lifting moment,
Of lips against lips,
And tongues against tongues.

I love the texture of your skin,
Goose bumps rising underneath my fingertips.
I love the sweet scent of you in the morning,
And can't help thinking,
"God, you're so beautiful."

You zip my lips shut,
A dominant turn as you push me back against the covers and smile.
"This isn't fair…"
"Stop complaining."
And you take me from this world to an intimate dream,
Where my frowns don't exist,
And it's just you and me.

Just you and me.
I hope to find a girl with a skeleton tattooed onto her back, matching her perfect bones. So I can stroke away her nightmares and kiss her into dreams.
